Partnership for defense innovation

The Partnership for Defense Innovation (PDI) is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit corporation established to encourage economic development in Cumberland County, North Carolina, particularly with respect to homeland security and national defense industries. The board of directors consists of 17 members representing local business, government, military and technology sectors. PDI is funded in part through a public funding grant provided by the state of North Carolina for the establishment of a defense and security technology business incubator.
