The Defense and Security Technology Accelerator, a nonprofit organization that assists entrepreneurs in marketing defense and security technology, is opening an office in Charlotte.
The office opened Monday in the Ben Craig Center, a UNC Charlotte business incubator that provides advisory services to small manufacturing, distribution and service companies.
Fayetteville-based DSTA also plans to open an office at N.C. State at the end of this month.
"The addition of these satellite offices gives our clients within the defense industry access to research and technology epicenters across the state of North Carolina and continues the DSTA mission to enhance technologies in an accelerated timeline," says Scott Perry, executive director of DSTA.
DSTA offers a program that assists entrepreneurs with the deployment of defense and security technology to meet military needs and private industry demands. |
