K3 Enterprises, a Client Company of the Defense and Security Technology Accelerator, Awarded GSA Schedule
Fayetteville, N.C. (July 21, 2008)- The Defense and Security Technology Accelerator (DSTA), a business acceleration program that assists entrepreneurs with the rapid development (8-18 months) of dual-use defense and security technology solutions, announced today that K3 Enterprises Inc., a recently graduated client company of the DSTA program, was awarded the Information Technology (IT) Schedule 70 for Classroom Training and Information Technology Services, by the General Service Administration (GSA), which will be in effect for the next five years.
The IT Schedule 70 was established by the GSA to assist federal government agencies with their procurement of IT products, services and solutions as needed to meet their agency IT missions. This Multiple Award Schedule grants agencies direct access to the commercial experts who can thoroughly address the needs of the government IT community through various Special Item Numbers (SINs). These SINs cover most general purpose commercial IT equipment, software and services. The schedule also allows for choice, flexibility, ease of use and access to quality businesses in the IT arena from small businesses to the industry giants.
A service disabled veteran owned small business, K3 Enterprises provides clients a focused effort regarding government contracting in the areas of Communications, Geospatial Information Systems, Intelligence and Training. “K3 continuously strives to provide quality products to our customers and take advantage of all the procurement opportunities made available by the government.
